Harvested from 83 year old vines, this is full, flavourful Gamay. Dried red berries alongside subtler notes of violets, earth, black pepper, & gentle spice. Perfect with paté. 

Pinot Noir, Cloudsley Cellars – Niagara VQA  2019

This is a vibrant Niagara Peninsula pinot. Beneficially aged 18 months in barrel before release. Its elegant on the eyes, nose and palate. Ruby red. Medium bodied. Velvety tannins. On the nose and palate, crushed red cherries are woven together with subtle smoke and spring time earth and cedar notes.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Submission 689 Cellars – California 2018

Deep ruby-purple in color with rich aromas of boysenberry, blueberry jam and dark chocolate – covered cherries. The wine is medium to full – bodied , packed with layers of blackberry, blueberry and chocolate. Freshness defines the subtly layered dark silky fruit in the finish.          

Syrah, Bernard Griffen – Washington 2018

Loaded with appealing aromatics of cherry, black currant and plum alongside subtler notes of vanilla and earth. The palate is dense, dark and full that adds textbook Syrah spice and warmth. A delicious New World wine that blends in some Old World structure and charm.

Héritage de Chasse Spleen – Haut- Médoc, France 2019

This Bordeaux is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (35%) and Cabernet Franc (5%) and displays a beautiful ruby red colour. The bouquet is fruity with vanilla aromas mingle with ripe black fruits. The palate is powerful and balanced, with supple tannins.

Brunello, Argiano di Montalcino – Tuscany 2017

A wine of considerable bandwidth with lots of dark fruit, rich plum and spice. It carries medium fruit weight and concentration spicy oak notes and toast that also play an important role in this hot-vintage Brunello. The results are plump and slightly round, but you also get the acidity and the tannic structure of an age-worthy Sangiovese. RP 93pts

Pinot Grigio DOC, Giuseppe & Luigi Estate – Friuli, Italy 2020

Pale straw colour; some toasty aromas with fruity/floral overtones; well-balanced with a viscous, slightly oily texture

Chardonnay, Cloudsley Cellars – Twenty Mile Bench, Vineland 2018

Wild fermented and aged in all French oak, 25% of which is new oak. It has a beautifully perfumed nose of apple, saline minerality and pear with integrated oak spice notes. It shows bright stone fruits on the palate, flint, persistence and vibrancy on the finish.

Sauvignon Blanc, Rongopai – Marlborough 2019

Aromatic with a soft smoky perfume and a touch of mandarin.  Finely textured and generous palate with a crisp finish.  Flavours of citrus, melon and a touch of sweet garden herbs.

Falanghina, Aia dei Colombi – Campania 2021

Falanghina is an ancient white varietal grown in the Campania region surrounding and east of Naples. This modern wine shows intriguing mineral, citrus and floral notes in the nose. On the palate, the minerals shine through backed up with good acidity and medium weight.


Bellaruche Rosé, M.Chapoutier – Côtes du Rhône, France 2020

Salmon pink organic rosé with aromas of red fruits & grapefruit, complimented by exotic fruits. Fresh, delicate and fruity on the entry with strawberry notes and a silky mouthfeel.  JS 91pts 

Parés Baltà Cava Brut – Spain

Organic & vegan. Pale yellow colour. Medium intensity on the nose with toasty notes combined with the aroma of pear and apple. Fresh and alive in the mouth with dominating notes of fruit. Light and soft with a pleasant finish.

Delinquente, Weeping Juan Pet Nat – Riverland, Australia 2021

Naturally sparkling & organic. Vermentino with a dash of Nero D’Avola made into a tutti-fruity pink Pet Nat. It is a great introduction to the style.
The nose hints at sweet berries mixed with an undercurrent of lime and sea spray. The palate opens again with the fruit sweetness, almost raspberry lolly like fruitiness, but is super dry, the acid accentuated by the fine spritz of bubbles, whilst the Nero D’Avola provides a slightly earthy, moreish element. Summer party vibe. vibe, but with depth and interest.

Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne – France

Tightly knit, focused by robust acidity and a streak of minerality, this offers subtle notes of white peach, anise, biscuit & kumquat. The refined finish echoes a smoky note.

Campbells Rutherglen Muscat – Australia

Smoky and rich, this wine’s golden raisin and toffee flavors are clean and delicious. It’s a smooth, unctuous dessert wine for late-night sipping.
